Joseph Cappadona is a multi-award-winning stylist and the founder of Gestalt Hair Studio, established in 1989.
With over four decades of experience, Joseph has built a reputation for his precision, intuition, and deeply personalised approach to hair. His work is defined by an ability to read each client, their lifestyle, energy, and individuality, translating it into a result that feels both effortless and entirely their own.
At the core of his philosophy is the belief that hair should never feel generic. Every cut and colour is considered, refined, and tailored. Designed to enhance natural movement, texture, and identity.
Now, as Gestalt enters its new chapter in Bondi Junction, Joseph continues to lead with the same passion, artistry, and commitment to excellence that has defined the salon for over 35 years.

Nik
Nik is a cornerstone of Gestalt, a master colourist whose work has shaped the salon for over 10 years.
With an intuitive understanding of tone, texture, and individuality, he is known for creating effortlessly beautiful, lived-in colour that grows out as well as it looks on day one.
From soft, beach-inspired hues to striking platinum and creative colour, Nik approaches every transformation with precision and ease.
When he’s not behind the chair, he’s immersed in the rhythm of ocean swims, long days in the sun, and late nights on the dance floor.
